Music for 2020 Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular

I’m proud to have contributed some music to the Macy’s 4th of July Firework show! Many, many thanks to Michael Patti and Noah Gladstone of Hollywood Scoring for having me, and thanks to the rest of team for their inspiring work.

For more info, check out Macy’s website!

This was a real special project on so many different levels. We recorded the music at Warner Brothers on March 12th, the day before a city-wide shutdown. The pandemic threw a wrench into the program, but the great people at Macy’s turned stuff around beautifully, and I can’t wait for people to rejoice at the event.

I am thankful for the past 13 years spent in this country that I now call home (and have particularly fond memories of the few years I spent in NYC).

In these particularly difficult times for the world and for this country, I sincerely hope the American people (and its immigrant inhabitants like me) find common ground. 2020 is an unexpected year for everyone, and, however difficult things are, I have faith that we will get through this TOGETHER.

Here are some excerpts of the music I wrote for the show:

In addition to these, I wrote additional arrangements on “Lean On Me”, featuring the Young People’s Chorus of New York City and Dr. Elvis.

Have a beautiful and SAFE 4th of July, everyone.
